Propane detector

Filled up my 2017 Isata 5 for the first time and now the co/gas detector will not reset and keeps on alarming. Anyone know what to do? I have had to disconnect it for some peace and quiet.

Most of those detectors alarm on low battery, too. Mine did once. Check battery charge.

Mine went bad after a month, I think it had dust in it or something. Replaced under warranty, no more alarms.

Have same issue with my DX3. Filled with propane and now alarm is beeping all the time with a co light.

No propane is being delivered to stove or Aqua Hot

Have been unable to reset. It is 20 degrees here going colder tonight.

Any suggestions?

Have checked voltage at the detector 14.3v
connected to shore power

does anyone know if propane solenoid is open with 12v applied or closed with no voltage or vice versa open no voltage applied closed with 12v applied?

Disconnect the two white wires going from the detector to the inline solenoid valve by the propane tank. Gas should now work at the range. Run your range for about 15 minutes to burn off some gas. Sounds like your tank was overfilled. Should never fill more than 85%. Reconnect solenoid. Good luck 🤞

With bottled systems it might be necessary to slowly open the valve from the tanks. Never had a MH system, but maybe the same thing could apply. There could be a safety shut with a rapid flow of propane. Open very slowly.

Thanks Teich I cut the two white wires but that did not allow propane to flow. Had to connect 12 v to black yellow wire. Solenoid kicked. now have propane.

However, the stupid co alarm is still going off and won't reset. Currently inside of MH is same as outside air COLD! There is no CO inside this MH.

My only choice now is to kill the sensor. Not a real great comfort there. Will have to contact Dynamax in the morning.

This unit is only 4 months old. Not real happy right now.
