Propane Tank

I have a quick question. In our previous MH (Thor) which we had for only one year. I ended up filling up the propane tank 3 times that year. (It had one furnace, stove and oven).

The Force has been used for three seasons now, still showing 1/2 a tank. I have the stove, outside grill and two furnaces.

So either the Thor had a horrible leak, or the Force has a bad gauge. I checked the gauge on the tank, it shows exactly what the inside gauge shows.

I think I am going to take it to fill it up to see how much it takes.

Interested to know what the fill results in.

I am starting to think it was another issue with the Thor, I guess I am lucky we never blew up.

How many times have others filled up their tank?

You had an other issue with the Thor that allowed it to use to much Propane or had a leak when one function was on. very hard to find. I had a regulator on a new unit that did not work on 'one side' very well and had a slow leak. Change regulator.

There can be way to many Variables for this Comparison! Days RV used, times Heat used,Outside Temp, all play into amount of Propane Used! Youroo!!

Agreed. We have had one week trips where we used almost no propane, others where we nearly emptied the tank in a week. Totally depends on heat, hot water, cooking for how long and #of burners, whether or not you have electricity for heat and hot water, etc.

Thor had 16 gallon, Force has 20 gallon, so not that much different, especially since we are using more now and have never filled. This may just go as one of those unanswered questions.
