Questions on my new Dx3 BH
We’ve had our new DX3 for a month now and just winterized it until next year.
I have a few questions , hopefully someone can help:-
I can’t get the remote to work for the awning. Does anyone know where I might find the receiver so I can program the remote? We have the theater option.
Do I need to use a pressure reducer when running water direct?
I noticed on a number of DX3’s they have a bank of lighting switches next to the CB in the cab, can they be retrofitted?
I also have the Jensen GPS instead of the Xite GPS. Can I replace and where could I purchase? Anybody have a few if it’s worth it?
Thanks

I don't know about the awning mine is not remote controlled.
I run a pressure reducer in my Force HD. I have not read any posts claiming that one is already built in.

Pressure reducer. You can have my xite system this spring after our hd comes in. Already bought a Kenwood to replace it.

I use a Garmin rv gps that has a backup camera for our trailer. The Kenwood has apple car play too and a built in dashcam.

Was wondering if you ever found out anything on the switch question.
We’re looking at a new BH model that has multiplex switches throughout but, like you mentioned, is missing the multiplex switch bank in the cab next to the CB.
Are they an option?

No, I never got an answer. Maybe Brian can comment. I’ve seen 2018’ s with and without, all models. So I’m not sure why the criteria is? My Dx arrived on the dealers lot in early Sept.

I think there were switches in the cab, but we may have taken them out since then. Trying to reduce the switch locations to help pay for having the Bluetooth controller as standard.
If you have a smart phone..you have the switches wherever you want them.

Yes. Works great from my iPhone so I can understand them removing switches in cab.
Is anybody able to answer where the awning remote receiver is located?
Thanks

It is normally up on the wing wall area, right around the TV.

With the better weather, for a few days, I located the awning remote receiver which is behind the TV, nearest to the entrance door, but I can’t see anyway to access it. How do you remove the TV. It’s a DX3 with fireplace and 50 inch TV.
Thanks

Sorry to bring this one up again, but had one more question:
The 2018 DX3 we ended up buying actually had the 4 multiplex switch panel in the cab near the CB (2018 model that came off the line after the previous one we looked at that did not have the switch panel). Although the main panel on the Precision Plex has an option to put the system in to 'pairing mode', I can't get it to work with the app, and I never see a device show up in the bluetooth list.
Before I pull the main panel to inspect, is it safe to assume that since ours has the switch panel in the cab that it probably didn't get the bluetooth module upgrade?
Thanks,
JT

1. make sure you are "in the app" not in your bluetooth settings on your phone to pair.
2. it is not necessarily safe to assume you do not have the BT module

I was in the app when attempting to pair...after several attempts, though, I just checked the bluetooth listing in the settings to see if anything ever showed up.
I'll try it again tonight, and, if it doesn't work I'll pull the main panel and check for the module. Just wanted to see if the cab multiplex switch panel and bluetooth module were mutually exclusive.

Not that I can help you with your app problem but when I picked up my DX3 during the PDI I downloaded the app and went through the steps and everything worked as expected. So, it can and should be able to done.
Also, another thanks to Brian for the downloads, my thumb drive didn't have those.
