Personal preference.
Many leave them run 24/7.

I have an R/V absorption refrigerator in my garage that has been running 24/7 for over 20 years on electric.

Are you going to empty the contents between trips?

Do you have an electric hookup to take advantage of between trips?

Need more info to give an answer...

I leave ours run all summer. That way the beer is cold.

Turn it off when the weather gets below freezing.

Leave ours on all the time, even through the freezing weather. We do have 120v at our storage site.

For those that leave your RV's fridge on 24/7...

Are you leaving food in it all the time?

Or just keeping the fridge cold?

We dont leave any food in it. Just those baking soda boxes (fridge and freezer) helps absorb any smells leftover including freezer burn

We leave water, soda or beer in the fridge. A little bit of mass to help keep the run cycles down.

Things that really are not wasted if the fridge gets hot.
