Rock Guard

We recently (like last hour or so) changed rock guard suppliers. The new place is also going to make them available directly on their website for those that want them aftermarket. I just figured we'd cut out the middle man. (us/dealer). Not up yet...should be in the next couple of weeks.

https://www.shoprv.parts/online/

Basically same as before...I just added the Dynamax logo globes on each end and its a heavier rubber from what I can tell.

They used a trademarked name to peddle their wares? tsk, tsk, tsk. They need written permission to do that or they risk getting a strongly worded email from our legal team.

Should have spelled it wrong, no trademark on misspellings.

Just say it like Jimmy Walker on Good Times "Dyn-O-Max!". Then you're covered. It looks like it's spelled the same, but sounds different.

Ooh, good to know, trademarks only count if they sound the same.

I bought the basic steel roller from etrailer https://www.etrailer.com/Skid-Wheels...48-979021.html
I removed the roller and welded a bolt plate and a perpendicular gusset. I didn't find anything already manufacturer in a low profile design so I made it.

Will your Flap reach "Under the Rollers" when goings forward in a depression? It looks like the Rollers have came into play a few times! Youroo!!

I checked with the a severe angle and it come no where close to the roller. Yes they have been used that's why I installed them to protect the hitch. I'm working on a simple design to inflate and deflate the air bags when manuring around gas station and campgrounds. Will make a new thread once proven.

Sunset Beast, I did a air bag mod on my DX3 using a series of hand valves to raise, lower, or run in auto level mode. It has worked well so far, looks like my DX3 Air Bag Mod thread is on page 6.

I just looked at the Duraflap site and they are not marketing a DYNAMAX rock guard. They do make custom designs by order from the customer. Since they are not promoting the Dynamax rock guard I don't believe they are in any violation of copyright laws. It might be a fine line, but I believe they are OK.

If they made a sign...even if its custom, with our name or logo on it, they are in violation.

For example...if I wanted to order a custom "Ohio State" rear plate, they would need to pay a licensing fee.

On the bright side...I'm not sure we care that much.
