Included sheet said approx. 4 inches from ground at drive height. That seems to me to be really close going into or out of fuel stops.
The pictures above where taken at 5 1/2 inches while level on the jacks.
At 4 inches I'm thinking the guard will drag or hit the ground with air dumped.
What do you all think?

It shouldn't be that difficult to determine. Have someone help you and push the rock guard as far forward on its chains to the front of the rig as it will go i.e. totally horizontal, suspension chains fully extended. If that results in it contacting the tires so it could be "backed over", then you should raise it up, which will shorten the distance towards the rear wheels. Raising the height of the rig will help reduce the odds of it happening, but if you are backing up a steep hill, or run over some weeds or brush while backing, it could push the rock guard under the rear wheels and still damage it or tear it off.
