letsgorving...Thatís awesome, it took me 2 phone calls and 9 emails of getting the run around and several we canít do anything to help you. I finally had enough and sent .... It is obvious that you are giving me the runaround when other customers have received the newly designed air flow/filters to address similar issues. Please forward this email exchange to your supervisor. My telephone number ....and I would appreciate a follow up telephone call.
I did NOT get a phone call, but two newly designed flow/filters came a few days later.

I got mine in a couple days. No hassle at all. She said that there is an updated trim package that I will be getting soon as well.

All. Just an FYI the replacement shroud is significantly smaller than the original. Halla emailed Dometic and they are re-engineering one that will cover the same real estate. Otherwise we'll have an exposed seam in the ceiling (at least on the Force HDTS) and the marks from the old one are permanently visible.

I call Dometic today and they told me 2-3 more weeks on the redesigned cover. She told me everyone who was shipped a kit will automatically receive the updated cover. My unit is not dripping like some have reported, but I do think the improved baffles will make it worth installing when the new cover arrives.

Like many, I have 2 kits to fix the condensation drips. Kits didn't come with instructions; did anyone get instructions?
Also, trailer tech says you have to lift the unit up? Is that just to check drain tubes or do you have to do it to install the kit?
Thanks.

Back on post 55, it was mentioned that Dometic would pay for the install of the kit. I plan to call them and get approval for the install as I have a Dometic repair facility right by my house.

I did get a full set of install instructions with the kit, but it was for a complete installation, not just for the kit. Earlier someone mentioned pulling the condenser unit on the roof, but I don’t see why that would be needed just for the grill and baffle. In any case, I plan to have someone else deal with it.

I haven't had a problem with any inside dripping from my A/C, even when it's been on all day in 90+ heat. Have I just been lucky or is it just a matter of time before it's my turn? Is this a manufacturing defect on random units or does it tend to show up on all units eventually if it's used in high humidity regions?
