RV Snap Pad

Has anyone tried ever tried these RV Snap Pads for your landing pad?
https://rvsnappad.com/

I recently ordered a DX3 to use at the drag races and I would like a quick easy way to keep my level pads from sinking in the asphalt.

To each ... his own. At approximately $200 for a set of six if one has the level up feature ... I can carry several 2X8 pieces of wood and have lotsa money for diesel left over. It doesn't bother me to take 60 seconds and lay out 6 pieces of wood ... I'm retired.

I have had them on my previous fifth wheel and now on my Force HD. I love them. Power Gear Jacks is what my unit has. With the discount I got the set of 4 for $190. Money well spent.

I was wondering the same thing. But their website shows that there is a "bolt hole" in the center of them.

I foresee a purchase when my DX3 gets here.

The latest model has drain holes built in...snap pad xtra...
When I purchased mine they did not have the xtra so I just drilled my own drain holes.

Nor do you have to pry your wood out of the mud if it should rain while setup..

Get a soft site, the jacks can just go into the ground without leveling. Similar can happen with asphalt in a hot area, and sometimes newer can do the same.

At these weights, you need something to spread the weight a bit more sometimes. Even adding a a few inches can make a difference lowering the ground per square inch pressure.

We use hoss pads most of the time, and mix in 2x12's when called for. Never had to dig a 2x12 out, and have had some soft sites. Our current rig is lighter (16k) though, so we'll see with the new DX.

OP asked what size fits the foot on a 2018 DX3 which is an octagonal foot.
I also would like to know.
Jack pad is required at some RV resorts/parks. Can be wood or other material but cannot be steel on pavement.

I and wife are retired/semi retired and have had physical issues that make it hard to crawl underneath.

I have query into to Snap Pad now. but if anyone has these already and they fit a DX3 then question answered.

When I ordered mine octagonal feet was not supported. Round 9 and maybe 10 inch were available. Even with the new kick downs octagonal was not available. The restriction for asphalt surfaces at campgrounds are for stabilizer jacks that are small footed that dig into the asphalt but I haven't been required to have supports at those campgrounds with the restriction with my 9" round levelling jack feet (without snap pads). Anything is possible though.

Just had a e-mail with Snap Pad. I have a 2017 DX 3 with Power Gear levelers, that have a kind of octagon plate.

Snap Pad says that they don't have anything that fit those right now.
My plates are 10" but not completely round. Does any one have the same as I do?

I bought a 4X8 sheet of 3/4 inch exterior grade plywood. This will give you 8 2x2 pieces. I screw 2 together so the wood is 1.5 inches thick. I then buy 4 of the inexpensive orange plastic jackpads from CW and screw to the bottom so rocks don't cut into the wood. I give everything a good coat of rustoleum for more water proofing and you have a HD set of jack pads that cost less than $50. They will attach to any size foot, just drill a couple of 1/4 inch holes in the factory pads.

Me bad: so after going out and looking at my plates, I see that they are

10" round. So the correct pad is the "Snap Pad Prime" Just ordered a pair

Don't know why I thought they were Octogon!!!
