Satellite Question - In-Motion

King now offers a Satellite dish that will handle Dish, DirecTV and Bell, all-in-one without the need to change dip switches.

The caveat is that it is fixed only...not in-motion. It is also less money.

The question is...how many of you actually watch TV in-motion. I'm always driving so I don't care. My wife is normally on her iPad. My kids on their respective devices or reading. Is anyone really watching TV going down the road, other than DVD's?

We've had the Trav'ler on most of our previous motorhomes, so we've never used or needed in-motion.

We rely on DVDs when we feel the need to watch a show while driving. We haven't bothered to sign up for the satellite TV at all.

TV is on for the whole trip, wife and or son watch it all the time.

They would never give up the IN Motion.

Anyone want a Travler Sat dish? I got a new cord and switch from the factory in preparation to sell...

Our 3 yr old grandson watched Nick Jr from Texas all the way to Arizona. We use the in motion to keep him busy while we travel.

Changing the DIP switch is no big deal, it’s a one and done deal.

I gave up trying to even get the Sat to work and if it did, we'd never use "In Motion".

No satellite anymore . gave them up 4 yrs ago . either cable at the campground if they have it or over the air . or dvd's which ever is available . don't miss the overpriced satellite or bill . to pay 79 a month for maybe 15 good channels is crazy

My Isata 3 FW is set to be built next month. I would prefer the one that is not in motion. How soon are you starting this?

While on topic, do I need a Wally for each tv or can I use just one for both tvs? Only going to watch one at a time

Never used the satellite, not once. We use the ipads for movies and sometimes park cable for news etc...
