Seal Maintenance

What are you using on the rubber seals on your slides and entrance door to stop squeaking??

Silicone spray lubricant. Do not use petroleum products.

I use "Seal Maintenance" spray from Camping World. Which reminds me, I have to do that before our next trip.

Have never used any kind of seal maint product on any of our RVs. But, it makes some folks feel better.

WD40 on the door latch striker, nothing on the seals

My S-I-L, on her last trailer, had a seal crack, break and leak on one of the slides. The other seals were okay but hard, stiff and brittle. She's the one that turned me on to "Seal Conditioner". She said that the rubber was so dry that it just soaked that stuff up. She's used it from the get-go on her new 5th wheel. I've tended to use it about once a year on my RVs but haven't done it yet on the DX3.

I have used 303 Aerospace for years. Great product. Wipe on and wipe off.
