As far as I am aware, and per Stoops Freightliner Indianapolis specifically, the warranty isn't a customer warranty, it is a vehicle warranty just like any other vehicle warranty you get when you buy a car or truck. With your comment, I asked Freightliner and they confirmed my belief that it is a warranty that follows the vehicle and not the customer. It is also a 6 year 100K warranty on the cummins. The body corrosion warranty is less than the motor and drivetrain, but also is a vehicle warranty not a customer warranty that transfers just like every other car on the market. Took it in Monday, they determined it was the tensioning pulley and replaced it as well as the belt under warranty as well as performed a recall with something having to due with the ECU programming. I think that you might be thinking of the Dynamax warranty on the coach itself or something??? Anyway, it was covered.
