Set temp below 60?
For some reason, I can't set my heat for lower than 60f. Sometimes I'm trying to conserve propane or just keep from freezing over night so 50 would be fine.
I must be missing something easy but so far the manual has not helped. Has anyone else run into this?
I have a 2018 Force HD with the Atwood 15033 A/C (and their control panels):

Set temp below 60?
I have an Isata 3 with the same unit, does not go below 60 and heat pump only works with outside temps above 45. Below 45 goes straight to furnace. We use a small space heater to conserve propane below ambient temps to keep areas warm.

I believe they all operate that way, mine is the same setup and only goes down to 60.

The temp control that is used only goes as low as 60. If in Auto it will use the heat pump function (Atwood A/C) to around 45 outside temp then switch to furnace (in a DX3 that is the AquaHot hot unit).
If you have an AquaHot system and are plugged in to shore power turn both the burner and electric on. The electric will pretty much provide all the heat needed and the burner will kick in for showers or high demand hot water only thus saving much propane or diesel.

Thanks for all the replies, it sounds like this is just the way it works.

We bought an oil filled electric heater from walmart and use it to heat when we need to take the nip out of the air as well as when we are using our furnace. It heats up the oil inside and stays warm for a long time. It reminds me of the old radiator style steam heaters.

Yep, this is just the way it works.
NOT GOOD, but it is the way it works.
My Georgetown is in for warranty service. One of the items that isn't warranty is for the dealer to identify a thermostat that can be set to a lower temperature. Hope he comes up with one.
I'd like the option of setting the temperature at 40 degrees when not in use, just to keep the coach from freezing.

MOST residential T-stats are not set up for low settings. I just bought one for my garage and you have to specifically find on that is set up for low temp...I think the one I got goes down to 40.

All my thermostats have had a lower setting. It's called "Off".
A big sleeping bag, unzipped so it covers the entire bed, takes care of the chill while sleeping.

Set temp below 60?
My last MH went to down to 50. I have two zones in my house, they both go to 50 too. One is a nest. For those that keep their units at home and plugged into shore power a nest thermostat would nice to both control and check the temps remotely in the coach. I wonder if it could be hooked up?

I think the NEST needs wifi and internet access to operate remotely. I have one at home. But I think w/o wifi it will work as well as any thermostat, and might be a good fit for a M.H.

The nest needs 24 volts so probably not the best option without relays and some extra legwork etc. Your best option is the Ecobee SI as it is 12 volts.

umm...yeah. I'm not sure how that would keep water from freezing, but thanks.
