Sewer hose hook up problem

When hooking up sewer hose , the hole in the floor of the compartment is too close to the sewer connection and causes it to be extremely difficult to hook up and causes a severe crimp in sewer hose if you manage to connect it.

You can get a "clear" 90 or 45 degree swivel adaptor...I actually put these on whether needed or not so that little clear sections acts as a window to see if the water is running clean when you flush the tank.

BC has the right idea, I've done this for several rigs now, go to any of the RV supply houses and you should be able to get the fitting with just the right angle for your rig. And clear is great, tells you when you are done.

or, you can 'turn'/'swivel' the main sewer outlet DOWN to better connect your hose...

I had the same problem with my Isata 4 31ds. I bought both types of 90 degree connectors, both didn't work. Dealership had to install a shorter pipe for it to work correctly.

I struggled with hooking up my waste hose to the hook up for 3 years. But it worked. Bought a new hose by a different manufacture and it wouldn't bend properly so I ended up using my old hose that leaked. With both tanks empty, I loosened up the hose clamps on the gray and black pipe and moved the exit pipe up 15 degrees. That shift gave me all the room I needed to connect my new hose. Wow . . . wish I had done it 3 years ago. One note . . . tanks need to be empty ! !
