Another mystery component solved. Thanks for the info.

Another real quick question Brian, if the bird is working correctly which I feel it is after talking to that company on phone. Where is the solinoid located on coach and that connects all batteries together when the bird tells it too?

If I’d had any clue it existed I may have asked

After 2 years I’m still discovering stuff. Though I know I checked before purchasing the echo power that my chassis batteries were not seeing charging voltage. Now I’m just second guessing myself

If we ever have an issue with that side of things...we have primarily seen it be the solenoid that is the issue. Now having said that, my old EE said..."its not the solenoid"....even thought it was the solenoid. But he said, those things are rated for continuous load and it is more likely the input causing the issue in the solenoid. So in his mind...if it is the solenoid, its not the solenoid, but the BIRD causing the solenoid to go bad. But its still a bad solenoid.

He always suggested replacing the BIRD with the Solenoid. I just always felt, like anything, no matter how "durable" you can get a bad one.

So on that note...I'm not sure the exact location, but if you look in the electrical bay, it is in there on the back wall. Looks like this.

DC Contactors : PowerSeal // 12V Continuous
