We had the dealer install those same struts on ours too.
BTW I see you have the clear freezer containers , i have the narrow ones that fit right in cabinets above the cap, holds a ton of stuff now without spilling every time we open those doors (ours is not a cabover)

Not on my rig, they were just standard recessed hinges.
I did have hinges on cabinets that did hold up on my old 5th wheel, about the same size, but they were much lighter doors, doubt they would work on the dx3.

Ours is not here for me to check, but I could have sworn the hinges hold them open.

Here is another post about this topic, this is where I got the struts from.
On our 37bh, we added struts to cabinet doors over sofa and tv/fireplace.
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...es-134232.html
I though they were supposed to stay open as well, but my version of the rig, they used the same hinge on almost every cabinet and the other cabinets do not lock open at any angle. I took one to the HD to confirm.
Other rigs may be different as they are always making changes.

the new hinges they are using are much nicer than the old ones, soft close too.

I have a 2018 37TS early 2018 anyway.
The new hinges would not fit the hole pattern of my overhead cabinets and I didn't want to have to realign all of the doors. so I used the RV Designer H277 Cabinet Door Support available on Amazon.
They work great. Ended up putting a strut on all of the overhead cabinets.
