Table isata3

How do we get the table top off the table in the booth? We loosened the "set screw" with the black handle, but the top doesn't want to come off. Is there something else we need to release or do we need to pull up pretty hard?

The pedestal needs to be pulled out of the collar on the under side of the table once the set screw is loosened. It can be pretty tight at times and just needs a little muscle. and some wiggling.

So you loosened the black handle? that is the "ring" and the ring compresses around a rubber gasket. I wonder if the rubber gasket is stuck to post. Try spinning the table a little bit? (side to side)

The top of the post is NOT tapered. The bottom is...I know the bottom can get in there pretty tight, but that's a plus when traveling. The top, I've never had an issues with. The post is sort of fluted/ribbed to prevent any continuous contact.
