tail and marker lights

has anyone had any problems with tail lights?

Towing a toad, tail lights are on the rig and the car. Then after a couple of hours they go off. Then after several hours of the lights being off, you can then turn them back on. The brake lights/turn signals are always good.

Brian what do you think? Should I go to Freightliner first?

thanks Joe

what are you towing? LED lights or incandescent? I think there is a resettable circuit that protects the lighting on the Freightliner. If the draw is too much, it will protect itself.

I have not had any issues, but I replaced all of the lights on the outside of the MH within a few weeks of purchase, I ended up using same size units, all LED. No issue when pulling Jeep or the trailer.

Yes, Freightliner was very helpful. The lighting is controlled by the chassis module (computer) if it senses a over amp, over voltage or other fault, it will shut off the circuit. After fault goes away, it will come back up. Which is kinda what happened to me about three times. Took car and had it re wired from the motorhome cable and all the way back. Found some sloppy wiring, and had it all re done and tested. Hope that was the problem, will let all know on the trip home.

thanks for the info. the Dynamax is great and the hot water is even better than great, and the ride can not be beat.
