Tech service from Greg at the rally
I just want to thank Dynamax (BClemens) for helping us with issues and bringing Greg to the rally to address many others. For us while Greg wasnt able to fix our awning 100% at the campground (he said he could not) it IS working (yay!)
THE DOOR SQUEAK IS GONE!!! It was quiet all the way home
And....he had on hand a small part we needed for the roof.
To get some things taken care of while having fun was just awesome! Thank you!!

What did he do to fix the door squeak? My entry door sounds like a flock of birds chirping as we drive. Very annoying.

I was so glad Greg was able to come. Both to help everyone with their rigs but also to get to spend some time with him. Definitely hope we see him more in coming years

Ours did too, very annoying. They always said the door needed to shut tightly. We thought ours did, apparently not. He loosened the dead bolt, moved it, even banged on it a bit moving it toward the coach. Door became tight, no more squeak!!!! The lack of was so enjoyable on the way home we forgot to turn some music on lol.

I just figured this exact problem out yesterday. I couldn’t get the bolt sticking out from the door jam to move. So I wrapped a layer of electricians tape around the bolt and voila no more squeaking door! Mine is but a temporary fix until I figure out how to move the bolt. Of note my door felt tight but evidently there was just enough movement to generate enough noise to make me want to set fire to the coach.

Can you post a picture of the bolt you are talking about? Mine has chirped from day 1 and I've been lubing the heck out of it which helps but it doesn't last.

Thank you Casey! That helps. I wonder if that rubber stuff that you can put on tool handles would work as a more permanent solution. It's a liquid that dries like rubber for plier handles and such.

Permanent solution is to figure out how to get the bolt loose in order to adjust it. I think the are an eccentric and can be moved to make the door fit tighter.

Thats funny, I was never able to come up with a discription about mine when I bought my Isata 3. I fixed mine by replacing the seal with a thicker one for a tighter fit.

I forgot to ask Greg or Brian about the Red indicator light my macerator toilet switch shows even after I've emptied the black & gray tanks.

Wrap black electrical tape around the stricker post two to three times. It stops the metal on metal rub.

The post requires a wrench to loosen, then you can move it back to adjust. Mark with a pencil so you know where you started. It seems mine needs adjusted every so many miles. The roads in PA about broke the entire unit yesterday on the way home, so adjustment is needed again.

I might match your bet with I-10 east out of Houston and up the ante with I-10 in Louisiana. I’m surprised my refrigerator didn’t fall out. Unbelievable how that area has deteriorated. Thank goodness for air ride seats!

Not in Texas, we live in Florida. We are on the way home from 3 months in California. That is one of the worse sections of road I have ever been on with the exception of the section of I-20 through Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. Avoid that at ALL costs.

Harvey flooded all those roads from Houston through Louisiana and now they're horrible!
