Tire Pressure

Haven't been to scales yet but will. I see freightliner shows 110psi front and rear.. forest river shows 110psj on their sticker located in the door jam. Is everyone running max 110psi in all their tires?

110 is max pressure on the Michelin 275 80R 22.5 unless your tires are different 120 psi is over inflated.

I think it is simply a math exercise. The tires are rated xxxLBS at xxxPSI. Once you know the weight you can ratio the PSI.

Michelin and Goodyear both have tire inflation tables once you know 4 corner weights.

Agree on the psi table chart by tire manufacturer, not new to that. Was just curious as to what folks typically run as a ballpark. Once I get to scale.. the mystery will be over and "I'll" post my findings.. I do like to fire up conversation on topics. Keeps Dynamax forum active.. :-)

Yes I did. Everything loaded the way "we" like to travel. No tow vehicle attached. Of course thats not adding much if it were since wheels are n the ground.

Michelin has a site on tire pressures. 110psi is based on max loading. Looks like slim is just over 6,000 lbs short of max load. Unless it is driving harshly, 110 would be fine...but for softer ride, run them lower.

Thanks for weight response Slim. Good to know. I am hovering around 27k as well. 110PSI (cold) works good for me. I tried less PSI, but it does not handle as well when it is below 110PSI - for me.

I'm running 110 psi front 105 psi on the drive axle. Good ride.
