towing questions

2015 DX3 currently towing a ford edge. Considering a 2500# 10,000# capacity aluminum trailer to accommodate a VW TDI Touraeg. Any thoughts.

What are the towing specs on the door sticker? I would think 10000lb is within spec.

There is no problem, your new trailer is rated at 10,000# but weighs far less. Besides 10 isn't 20...

My experience is the more weight on the tounge the better the ride. I pull a 10k pound 22ft enclosed trailer with no issue

I actually prefer towing a trailer to flat towing. Loading/unloading is a hassle as is storing it. But I feel it tracks better when driving and being able to back up if needed is always a relief. Feels more natural to me.

You’ll be great with that trailer/load combo. My 10k steel trailer weighs 2700lb itself and I barely know it’s back there
