How hard was it to install on the rear inner wheel? Those are tuff. Its nice to see the color monitor, that was supposed to be released a few years ago.

507 System with color display

I have the system on my rig and I really like the new color display! I found it to be easy to program my already existing sensors.

I am really impressed with the battery life so far. I haven't used it too much but it was on for several hours one day and the battery level indicator did not move at all.

Oh, I did notice that as well. I actually had mine on for 2 days straight, since I accidentally forgot to turn it off. It went to “sleep” and didn’t lose a bar!

Couple of questions. I'm getting ready to order the TST system that has the color monitor, repeater and 10 flow through sensors (6 for the rig and 4 for the trailer).

Do the DX3s come with metal valve stems all around? Are they the good extended type or do you need to add extensions to accommodate the TPMS wheel sensors?

Do they use those hokey flexible extensions for the inner duals? (I hate those things, on my other MH they always leaked)

I've used TST systems before. Is there plenty of room to install the flow through type sensors on the rear and still be able to access them if you need to add air? I always had to use the cap type sensors on the rear of my other MH.

Thanks

Randy, DX3 comes with metal valve stems on all wheels. I have them and have had no issues installing and or getting to them with the flow through. Both extensions are metal and not flexible.

PM and I can walk you through a few things.

I demonstrated them at the AQHA Congress last month and turned the monitor on and off multiple times throughout the day for almost three days before I needed to charge the monitor.

Great thing about the color monitor, is the antenna is built in, the charging port is Micro USB to USB or 12 Volt. It will monitor up to 38 tires plus 4 different trailers. It is capable of monitoring up to 110 tires. it will alert on Low PSI, High PSI, Fast Leak, and High Temp. Rather than an icon that appears at the bottom of the old 507 the new monitor will read out High Pressure, Low Pressure, Fast Leak, and High Temp so the user can visually see the alert. It will also give an audible alert(Beep-Beep-Beep), as well as a red flashing light.

If anyone wants any of the systems from the 510, 507 standard monitor and the 507 color monitor PM me.
