Does the REV have a bypass?

My REV has the Truma Combi heater which is a different heater than what the Isata has.

I have winterized it the past three winters without looking for or noticing a bypass. However last winter I must have done something different in my sequence because I believe that I filled the Truma tank with antifreeze. It took a lot of flushing to remove all the antifreeze.

If yours has a by-pass it would look something like the 2nd photo in response #17 above. To access the top of the water heater in my Isata you pull out the kitchen drawer below the gas top range. I have now added a by-pass valve and line to mine so it now looks like the 2nd photo instead of the 1st one.

Thanks for your response.

My problem us that it is difficult for me to get down on the floor and then have a good look at the heater.

I was hoping that someone with the same model , 2017 REV 24RB, could tell me.

You might try starting a new thread and put that you have a Rev in the title line and maybe another owner will respond to you.
