Vessel Bowl & a Dealer's Fuzzy Truth
There was a dealer that made a video comparison of the Isata 3, versus the product they carry, which will remain nameless. Compared to all the other comparisons, I felt pretty good they only felt they had (7) advantages. Until of course you dig into those...
1. Theirs does not have full body paint, saving you thousands!. Really? I never knew full body paint was a disadvantage, especially when our painted unit is about the same price as their non-painted unit. In any event, we also have a graphics unit, so that one doesn't count.
2. They have MCD Shades. We actually use MCD shades on our truck line, but I prefer the "hemmed" bottom from United shade (same functionality). The plastic MCD hem bounces on the window frame. Call this a draw
3. No storage in the dinette. I guess they missed the board you lift up for storage. This one is wrong too.
4. Their drop in sink gives you more counter space than our vessel bowl sink (insert audio of record needle scratching across record). Say what?
I really had to double take on this one, because my wife is not a big fan of the vessel style until we had this conversation on multiple occasions about how the vessel bowl gives you more counter space in a small unit.
Here is where I stopped watching and just figured I have no control if someone just wants to make things up. I figured a picture was worth a thousand words and threw together this pic with the help of some CAD data.
