I think they are raising them now after all the complaining but tbh I’d need a drop hitch if I raised mine. Right now my trailer sits absolutely level at the stock height and I love it. I’ve never dragged the hitch but then again I live in the flat Midwest.

The funny part is, I did notch the bottom of the fiberglass. I measured it out and somehow I must have miscalculated how high I could have gone with the holes because when it's all said and done, the hitch is only 1 1/4" higher than stock and I have a useless notch in my fiberglass...lol.

Yes, you have to remove some of the light weight non structural metal from the crossbar where the plug mounts because of the way the side bars taper inwards.
