I have another panel to bring the solar up to 945 Watts, but need to look into changing the bathroom sunlight cover on the roof so it'll fit. I saw 38A at 14.7V this afternoon going into the batteries. :-)

Where did you mount the MPPT? Can you post pics? Also, how difficult was it to move whole rig over to the inverter? BTW, I'm running 500 watts...just ordered the Victron BMV-702, interested in seeing what I'm getting out of 500 before I add any more.

Yep that's the plan. Meter first and use it a couple of times to get an idea. I think I can fit 4x 150w pretty easily though. Then again when I was up there this past weekend I'm a little concerned with eating up all my walking space. Back to thinking about the flexible panels that can be walked on.

I’m happy with my flexi panels.
I have 500w so far, and plan to triple that next summer.

Did you screw yours down or just adhesive the crap out of them? On one hand I like the idea of not drilling holes, but then again I like the idea of them being securely attached with no potential to come loose and be flapping around up there.

I just removed two panels which I assume was a factory installed (screwed, double sided taped, and sealed with caulk). It took quite a bit of effort to remove them.
My recommendation: Skip the screws and reduce leak opportunities.
That said, I'm wondering exactly what tape and what sealant is used on the roof.

I had to remove the stock panels to use the bigger house panels as they were in the way
Also, 40v panels can't be used in the same system as 18v. With bigger systems the higher voltage reduces amperage so reasonable wire size can be used while keeping voltage drop below 2 percent.
I'm giving the panels and charger to a friend for half of the best price he can find. That way he gets a screaming deal and I get to recoup some money.

Busy weekend...
1. Grill and lights:
2. Console:
3. Faucets:
4. Door and pantry latches:
5. We don't use the washer/dryer so we turned it into additional storage. I made shelves, put in cedar floor, mounted safe for guns and valuables, and mounted they Dyson vacuum (if anyone needs a washer and dryer (never used) please let me know)...also cedar lined the other closet and cabinets above bed:
Got to run....a few more things to do on it before the weekend it over.

Busy morning here, just got back last night, and left for another week by lunch.
Dirt devil Vroomm vac.
Installed a 1k VDC switch for my pv array.
Added another 200w of solar that I received from a secret admirer.
Installed an auto fire extinguisher in the inverter bay. ( halon)
Got to play with my new crimpers!
I ordered a half doz fans for various venting purposes. ( fridge, inverter)
I guess I didn’t read the 200mm part of the description! Whoops.
This should be interesting...

I wish we could find a dedicated location for the Dyson that is easily accessible. Still working on that.
