What insulation is in the ceiling?

As I posted in another thread a few days ago, we had a small leak we think came from some cracks in the dicor around a few screws in the fan in the BR that were not sealed over well. After DH risked his life finding the cracks on the slippery roof in the rain and duct taped the area as a temp fix, we vacuumed out some water from the space and stuffed paper towels up there to sop up any more moisture but the insulation was soaked. So we finally pulled it out and after we did that, no more wet paper towels. We are going to rent a dehumidifier and after we are sure there is no more moisture, we want to replace the insulation. Anyone know what insulation to get? It came out in a sheet.

We use fiberglass batt in there...similar to residential. Not sure how you would replace it without pulling the roof.

Not all of it was wet, just like a couple pieces about a foot square. Figured we would buy some and stuff it up there once everything was dry. I can stick my arm pretty far up in the hole where the light fixture is between the ceiling and the roof and its all dry except for the pieces I pulled out. Not a good idea?

if you can get it in there, I don't think its a bad idea. We'll likely have to redo it anyway when we make the repair.
