Wheel position scale?
Anyone have one of these? Or know where to find one on the east coast?

Escapees has them down in Florida- they call it their Smart Weigh system. It's a long way from Maryland, though.

Yeah I went through their websites, nothing remotely close to us
RV randy its a scale that measures the weight of your RV one wheel at a time. Helps you know where you might be overloaded, and/or need to adjust tire pressure. Plus it will guide you how best to pack your RV to help even up the weight for best ride and handling

OK, got it. We do the same measurements on our race cars to determine weight distribution, just never heard it called that before. Thanks

When I lived in Maryland, I couldn't find anything close by to do it.
Here's another organization that advertises it. But again, nothing close to Maryland (except maybe Massachusetts).
Weighing Schedule/Locations
Have you thought about contacting the State Highway Administration (SHA)? And see if there's somewhere you can go to get it done? Have to be careful to make sure your license is correct for your rig (given the 33k GVWR), though. I'd hate to try and get something useful done only to end up with hassles as a result.

Is this something the race tracks have or is it part of team equipment?

Team equipment. We use it to setup new chassis's. It has 4 separate scales that under each wheel, all talk wirelessly to a central unit.

Not sure if we will make the rally, depends on project commitments.
Plus I believe they are only rated for a total vehicle weight of 7,000 lbs. We don't build too many race cars that weigh 30,000+ lbs! They are rated lower so they are easily portable in case we have to take them to the track.
But there has got to be companies out there that have units rated to handle big trucks.
Here is one company called RVweigh. They say that they attend major RV rallys and offer individual wheel weighing. You can contact them at steve@rvweigh.com. It looks like they mostly attend rally's out West, but I bet if you talk to this guy, he can tell you who else offers a similar service in various regions. I also attached a copy of an example report you would get on a motorhome.

I’ve actually debated buying a set of scales to carry and use to weigh people’s rigs while traveling. Curious if there’s much of a market for that.

Do you lift the rv with the leveling jacks and then lower it back onto the scales? That is pretty cool

Nope, those are similar to our digital scales here at work. You just position one scale in front of each wheel on the axle you are weighing then and drive on.
