Emigrant Lake RV Park to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon, approximately 10 miles north of the California/Oregon border.

Forest fire smoke has been noticeable for the several days we have been here.

CrosswindsFamily Campground in Salisbury, NC. Beautiful wooded sites in the A loop and only 25 minutes from CLT and 10 minutes from the famous Lexington BBQ

Yes, great campground. Mom and pop place, very rustic. Free mussel boil at the campfire every night along with great conversation.

Volcanic Campgrond in Mineral, CA. 10 miles outside the southwest gate for Lassen Volcanic National Park.

$25/night for full hookups is superb. The only downside is there is not a whole lot to do in the campground. DW and I just used it as a base for hiking in the national park.Click image for larger version

Sounds like our kind of place. Secluded, quiet, dogs can roam about, & reasonably priced. The nothing to do is the best part. Sit & relax, read or not, cocktails or not, sun or not, reminisce or not, snooze or not, plan on the next stop, or not.
