Anyone on here yet? If so, what are you overall impressions? Any changes or additions you've made?

We looked at two 2018. 31 DS at MHS RV in Alvarado Tx this week.
Very impressive rigs for sure! They were fully rigged with U Dinette, big fridge, satellite and solar panels. The CCC on one was 834 lbs, leaving approx 400 lbs for gear, water, etc. The dining table ( u dinette) would be adequate for 2, but not 4 plates, cups, etc.
One thing we didn't find out-- does the couch recline? I know it has the foot pedestals.
I think we are going to closely follow the development of the 30FW in the 5 family. The last I saw on the forums- should be out next spring.
.

Thank you for all your time, energy and effort you give to this forum!!!

Hi
Couch does not recline
They may have a recliner option though
I will say as a big man couch is comfy and foot pedestals don't seem flimsy

Would that be enough for most full time RVers?
And how much does one need to allow for full gas and water tanks?

I agree with Kenny
We had a class A
We got rid of a lot and will be getting rid of even more
Shhh don't tell the wife lol
One thing we modified so far is the magnetic latch behind the tvs
If you use these large spaces and there is movement while driving
Well
Our kitchen tv popped open
We replaced screws and magnets w nuts and bolts
Much stronger now

We picked up our Isata 4 Aug. 24-17 at MHSRV and we love it. The floorplan is great and the living/kitchen area is huge when the slide is out. The windows and blackout shades are great and the shades do block out the sunlight. The bathroom is big enough for me and my wife and the cabinets are very nice. The roof AC is very quiet and there's plenty of LED lights. The touch screen control panel is great where you can control everything from it. On our trip home the motorhome was quiet and didn't rattle like the one we traded in. It handled and drove nice with plenty of power and we got almost 8 mpg. We haven't done much to it but added some hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom. The one thing we will miss is the dual reclining theater seats we had in our Leprechaun, they were great. I wish they had the option to get it in place of the sofa/bed, can't take a nap on the sofa, the back is too short. Will be shopping for some theater seats that will fit in place of the sofa. We didn't get the swivel seat option and if you don't need the extra seating in the living area the non swivel Ford seat mount are much better. We had them in our Leprechaun and didn't like them. Will have to watch the CCC weight its only 845 lbs. This is our first Dynamax RV and so far we couldn't be happier.

Just a reminder...leveling jacks add about 200lbs. Swivel seats, 42lbs each. So if you truly want to take more...there are options.
