Winter camping in Isata 3

We have a 2017 Isata 3. Are there any precautions we need to take when winter camping with temps in the teens? I could only see one heating pad and don’t know if it will be sufficient to ward off freezing tanks. Any advice would be appreciated. Ours is a RW, if that matters. Thanks for any advice.

We were in the teens and mid twenties a few nights on our maiden voyage from Michigan to Oregon on our trip home after purchase in March of 2017. One of the dump valves froze shut and we were not able to dump one day. It didn't break. Other than that no problems. The furnace has no trouble keeping things warm inside. We were in a different campground every night and most had their water shut off, so go knowing you may need to get water somewhere besides the campground. If your are going to be camping on an ongoing basis in freezing weather I would consider adding some heat tape to the drainage system, especially in the valve areas.
I'm sure others will chime in as this is a popular subject this time of year.

Winter Camping

We are also winter camping with our FW this year. When we talked to our guys at our local RV store they said to open the cabinet doors at night to let the heat into the compartments, to drain the low point drain and disconnect the water supply outside to prevent the hose from freezing. We will be doing these things when the temps drop in the next few days here. Good luck to us both.
