The issue I'm having is the frame mount does not align with footpad, it's at an angle and binds the bar to the point where it will not be able to collapse within itself as you crank it up or down?

That's how mine is.
It retracts fine.

Did u take them off already ?
Did you loosen the stop bolts plenty ?

Did you loosen the stop bolts plenty ?
I had bolted one arm to footpad then dry fitted remaining bar to frame location while operating jack & noticed the problem...if your's the same variance, may have to install one...

Yep mine work fine .

Soooo now you have been warned lol once you install them they will not retract 100% back up.
The bars hit before they nest.

If was at home I'd grab a pic and post it.

I will be home around 530-ish
