I can guarantee you the awning on my 2014 35QSIK is 20 feet, measured it just last weekend because I was installing a lights strip measuring 16'4", expecting to be 4" short at each end, when i was almost done installing the strip I realized I was 4 feet short, I let it a few curse words saying the guy who sold me the led's has sold me shorter strips, but after a quick measure job I realized the awning is 20 feet!

[QUOTE=LaydBack;619964]There's a 15A fuse on the back of the radio, next to all of the wires. Sounds like the hose may be unattached somewhere on the central vac. Both are probably easy to fix and not worth a trip back to the dealer.

I pulled the radio while out camping this weekend. There sure is a mess of wires back there! I did not see a fuse and seems the Genesis is DC powered. With that as the case what would the wires carrying the power look like?

Its right next to where all the wires go into the back of the radio. If you blink you'll miss it, but it's there for sure....at least that's where it is on mine.

Are there metal frames around the windows or studs to mount blinds or the valance to? I am getting tired of the factory blinds coming out of the wall, all the dealer does is put in those stupid plastic wall plugs and they only hold sometimes.

Thanks,
Jake

Is the j sofa available as a trifold or hida a bed or is it only available as an air mattress? I like the shape of the j sofa but don't want to deal with an air mattress every night for my daughter. Thanks.

From what I was told a few months ago, Sabre no longer uses air mattress sofas. Only tri-fold or sleeper.
Also not sure what the "j sofa " is, Maybe the model your looking at would help.

I've seen it on several 2014 33rets and 34reqs. Many have been shown open as air mattresses. It is an L shaped sofa but description in ads call them J shaped. This one has that type of sofa I'm talking about. Thanks.

Ok, cant say on that one since its not a '15, but it looks like it might be a later 14. I know when I asked In January, the air was no longer avaliable.

I like that couch though. Thats why we ordered our super lounge, for all the room.

We love our super lounge. I don't even think we've used the tables. Luke, are you saying yours doesn't have an air mattress?

No sir, I was told they are not available any longer by Sam several months ago, before we ordered. ( its probably on here a few pages back) Honestly I've never opened up the couch, and hope to never have to use it, but I know I didn't want the air one, personally. Air means leaks, and after semis, and shop air, I'd hate to deal with possible issue on a mattress.

Exactly why I don't want an air mattress. Good to know if I order a 2015 it won't have one. We are debating between getting this 5er shipped to our local camping world, another 34reqs with a definite trifold sofa 3 hrs away, and ordering through somewhere like rv wholesalers. A lot will depend on what is still available after we finally sell our current tt on craigslist.

Ok, I couldn't find on here. I must have asked him over the phone about the couch options.

New ones are only trifold, no air anymore. And they are hard as a rock too.

Plastic Trim Piece 2012 320 FQDS

Hi Sabre Sam,

I managed to somehow break a plastic trim piece on the rear, left, lower corner of my 2012 320 FQDS fifth wheel.

Please see attached pic.

How would I go about getting this replacement piece?

Best Regards,

We are looking at a 2015 Sabre 33CKTS-6 and will be pulling with a 2014 Ram 2500HD with the 6+ foot bed. Do I need a slider hitch?

I pull a 34tbok with a sb Ford and have a b&w companion hitch, non slider. In the year and a half of towing our sabre, I haven't felt the need for a slider. Others say get one just in case. Hope I never need one.

#2 Ask the Sabre & Silhouette Factory Rep. Read Post 1 first.

[Moderator Note: This thread has been closed with Sam's departure]

Dear Forum Friends,
I sadly say goodbye. I've taken a different direction with my career. I will be the Montana Factory Rep for IN, IL, KS, NE, WI, MO, IA and AR. This change is good for my family and myself. I thank each member that has treated me with kindness and respect. I hopefully have made your RV experience a little better. I'm not sure if anyone on the Sabre Team will continue to help forum members like I did.

A special shout-out to Turbo. Ron has been a champion for Sabre on this forum. I will miss our conversations and successes in helping customers.

Good luck to all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
