2010 Sabre stabilizer jacks

I bought this Sabre new and so far I have replaced the rear stabilizer jack electric motor and now it is defective again. It seems that during the winter moisture gets inside the motor housing and corrodes the winding - basically locks up the motor. The first time I took it out this year I find the motor is locked up again.

Two times in three years of ownership seems excessive. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

If my jacks go out on my SolAire I will install standard screw jacks and use my drill.

I haven't, but I would take it to a starter/ alternator rebuild shop and see if they could fix it or know of a better motor design. They might not but I personally would/ will do it when mine goes out.
And then go to screw stabs if they cant, or modify the existing shaft to run it with a cordless impact

I had to have my rear motor replaced twice for the stabs on my Flagstaff TT. Then I figured out not to drive them all the way up just like I learned not to drive the tongue jack all the way up. No problems since then.
