2015 312RKDS awning issue

With our awning extended out as far as it goes...it is still on quite a downward pitched angle. So much so that from inside it blocks much of the view through the large side window. I would like to have it flatter and higher. Does anyone else have this problem? I'll post a picture when I get chance.

My 2014 299RKDS has the same awning size & configuration as your pics above, but I didn't see it as an issue until you posted. Now the DW wants it raised about 8 inches when it's deployed. Curious to see what others have to say, any recommendations?

I have my 2015 312RKDS out right now for 2 weeks at the Lake and was looking at what you are talking about. Looking at the awning adjustments, I do not see a way to do a whole lot. I have a couple of adjustment holes for the bottom support of the awning that is higher but when you roll up the awning, it will be high and bind.
These new power awnings do not have the advantage of disconnecting the bottom support, standing it up and raising it like we could do the older manual awnings.
I feel you here, wondering how to get more height and light into the RV with the awning out. It is nice to be low here in the 100 plus degree Texas sun, but going to Colorado and you want the view in your window with the awning out, its a bummer. IMO.

With awning poles you could stop it before it gets all the way out and tie it down with the ratchet straps at a 45d angle to the side instead of inline with the arms.

Need pics of the lower arms closer trailer side (where the silver bar is).
You should have an adjustment knob near there and you should be able to loosen it and push the awning up. Ours has to be pulled down and the knob tightened to keep it at the angle yours is at.

Here are some pics of our awning out. And one pic zoomed in.

I like the pitch of the awning on our 33ckts. It sheds rain nicely. That said, our model has a big slide out that has 6 windows that are located behind the awning so we have no blocked view. Your awning looks longer (front to back) though.
