Best you can do is document everything you did. Where you went, weather conditions, time before storage, other RVs in same storage everything should be in writing. It's very obvious the roof seams and wall assemblies were not sealed correctly. We had a rear window leak for lack of sealant - wall covering bubbled - rear wall assembly had to be replaced - warranty. Unfortunately the replaced wall was installed sloppy, but it didn't leak.
We wish you good luck, get it fixed and trade ASAP.

I'd still try to contact the FR folks that are is charge of the division that makes your Sabre. Be nice during your conversation and explain in detail what you did. They can always offer to have you bring to the factory for correcting. Later RJD

As long as they are willing to pay for shipping. I’m a ferry ride and 4-5 day drive with the fiver in tow. (I’m in Newfoundland Canada)

We are heartbroken over it all to be honest.

Use dhem last year with no issues, Dollarama ones. We had 12 of them in the RV

Update, 65 days now since we found the damage, the damage is no better, intact warping worse. Our dealer is trying to help, but FR are
giving us the run around, from going through 3 reps, then the head guy for Sabre telling us that they will fix what’s damaged. Here is the problem thou, we have since had moisturize readings done on all the walls and slides and they range from 55% to 92%.acceptable range is 30%. How will they fix what is already in the walls?
They will not authorize any payment for any work to be done by the local FR dealer where we live and our dealer is a 12 hour drive and a ferry ride away.
We feel like we are being taken advantage of by forest river and they are just waiting till August when the one year warranty is up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated should we seek legal advice?

The Sabre Division I saw on a tour a couple summers ago was in rebuild mode. I could not believe the poor quality. I would be leaving legal question off the forum. I am not sure how to proceed with this as you bought in another Province. There is no lemon law in Canada like US has. I would say your Insurance is the best option for total loss. There was damage from a defect that allow the elements to enter the trailer.

After all this time I would have expected FR to pick the trailer up at the Ferry Terminal and return it to Goshen and supply you with a replacement . The window was in upside down. Poor QC!

We use the exact same ones. They are filled with the same stuff and other ones. This year with the cold season staying cold they froze up fairly early in the season .hey were about half full. This is Ontario with 80% in Fall when closing up.

You need to keep climbing the chain. I had a lot of issues with my sabre early on. I climbed the chain and they took my trailer back to the factory not once but twice to get it fixed. Like you I was at a point where I was asking for a replacement. I managed to get passed up the ladder until I got the Sabre Program manager at the time (this was when Sabre was still palomino so contacts have changed). I have now had my trailer for 4 years. It took awhile but it is in good shape now.

I would suggest trying to contact the Forest River Owner Satisfaction team. ownerrelations@forestriverinc.com or 574-825-7000 They may be able to help you some more. They prefer you go through Sabre but when you aren't able to get what you need through Sabre they are available to try to help. It sounds like you have tried Sabre so now try this contact. Best of luck to you.
