4th Sabre spotting today

We are on I-75 coming south in Florida and have spotted 4 Sabres. Pretty neat as I rarely see them "in the wild".

That's still pretty good! I haven't gone to many RV shows, but never saw one. We walked through and older Sabre before we bought ours but essentially bought sight-unseen.

Saw some very nice floor plans. If I was into 5ers might have bought one. Later RJD

There are 4 in the CG that we are in right now - John Prince County Park Campground in Lake Worth, FL. But yes, you never see a lot of Sabres! 2 of the Sabres are from Quebec and 1 is ours and another one is MI.

We really enjoyed our first season with our Sabre 33CKTS 5th wheel. Can't wait until we get out in early April to kick off the 2016 camping season.

Most of the dealers around here have quit selling them. My dealership has 1 2015 leftover for sale. I happened to run into a couple while I was dropping off for service on Saturday. They were desperately trying to find done sabers to look at. I let them inside mine. I should've let them buy it so I could upgrade at the RV show in a couple of weeks.

There is another Sabre that stays at our storage lot and have seen 2 at my membership campground last fall and 1at Kerr Lake.

I just saw one of the new sabres getting transported down i44 between tulsa and okc. It was about dusk this evening. I didn't notice alot, quick enough, but it did have 3 slides on the driver's side, like a 36qbok.
And im sorry, but the new FR ones look alot "cheaper" than the palomino sabres.....in my opinion.

That is one option DW insisted on, her favorite color is grey (nuff said).

Here's a 2014 RKDS Sabre on the lot (ok, it's mine) at Sam's Town in Las Vegas. Almost had to use OC'S awning pole bracket kit to strap us down as the winds yesterday were pushing 45mph. Several neighbors deferred their departure due to the blowing motion. No other Sabres have sighted in the southwest!

Same here. The only one left at the dealer we bought ours from is a 2015 34REQS-6. IIRC, they dropped the price to mid $30K.

Sabre spotting

We were on the road I-75 with our 2013 Sabre 32 RCTS the 31st from Sarasota, FL to Perry, GA. We saw 1 Sabre that day... We actually saw a Sabre dealership last summer in Havre, MT as well as several Sabres on our trip through Canada... We love our Sabre!

We've been on the road since Dec 9 with our first major stop in Charleston, SC for the FROG Light Festival and then in Florida till this morning. On the way out of the CG today we saw our first Sabre of the trip, just pulling in.

We are now in Gulf Shores, AL at Gulf State park and saw 4 Sabres here including 2 32RCTS's like ours. Very unusual as it is not a common Brand compared to others.

We were at Lazy Days RV near Tampa a couple of weeks ago and didn't see any Sabres or Columbus'...in fact...not nearly as many Forest Rivers and other brands. ...
Also for what its worth in our opinion the Forest River quality did not compare well with many of the other non-forest river brands. Not sure what that means, but we were troubled by it.

Were still pretty happy with our Sabre, but we are are disappointed because it seems like something goes wrong on every trip. So far on this trip we've had a Pex tube leak in the bathroom sink and this past Sunday, we had a limit switch failure in our furnace. That was a hardship even in FL as the overnight Temp was in the upper 30's.

I see a Sabre everyday here in Ohio. Our friend has one and it is stored on a lot we pass everyday. They really like the floor plan and its light weight. No serious problems with it but a few stress cracks that were repaired quickly under warranty. We are lucky to be near a good rv dealership.
