JT Strong Arm Mounting on a Sabre

I was looking for some advice on how to install a set of JT Strong Arms on my 2012 Sabre fifth wheel. It appears as though you are supposed to install a mounting bracket on a cross member between the two frame rails. However, when looking at my model, it looks as though I don't have a cross member at the very front of the frame rails. I do have some relatively thin (i.e. <1/8") plate that is formed to serve as the floor for the spare tire compartment that is accessed from the basement. This does not seem to me as though it would be strong enough to support the stresses that the stabilizers would impose on that plate if I were to mount the bracket to that plate.

Has anyone else run across this issue and have any suggestions?

Thanks!
