New Sabre 34REQS

I just signed the papers for a new Sabre 34 REQS. It sure is a beautiful rig. I looked at Montana and several others but none of them competed with Sabre in bang for the buck. I had a 2011 Sabre TT that we enjoyed but needed more room. My dealer is going to sell this unit for me. I am looking forward to my time in my new 5ver.

Congrats on your new Sabre. We're on our 3rd year with ours, and we love it. We have the same model. It is an awesome rig. And I agree with the more bang for your buck with the Sabre over the Montana, which I also considered buying. Good luck. 2011 Chevy 2500 HD D/A, 2013 Sabre 34 REQS-6.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats. I failed to mention that our TT was a 2011 32' Sabre. We were well satisfied with it but wanted more room. We dealt with Bumgarner's Camping Center in Hudson, NC on the new one. Shannon and his wife Angel are very nice and accommodating. This is the third camper I have purchases from them and second Sabre. Great family run business.

I received my 34REQS Thursday. The owner of the camping center pulled it up and installed on my mountain site. After 3 days have only had minor problems.
1) the commode seal where the flush trap door is came off and the commode would not hold water. (After some massaging got the seal back on. Found seal right before it dropped into black tank.)
2) water leaked onto the bathroom floor from under the shower door threshold. The threshold was not sealed properly and lacked caulking where the threshold and vertical shower door frames meet. (Re-caulked threshold and frames)
3) when it rained my kitchen counter kept getting wet. Found that small kitchen window was not adequately caulked. (Re-caulked the window)

The reason I did the repairs myself was the dealer said it would be 2 weeks before he could get to them
If this is all I find I feel fortunate. I love my Sabre REQS-6. Just about everyone in the CG has come by to look at it. Click image for larger version

Nice!!
And beautiful site as well!!!

We had the same shower issues on ours as well. I don't know why they can't caulk a shower at the factory, seams that this is something that happens on almost every unit.
Hope that everything else is smooth from here on!!!

Our neighbors had the same shower issue and a window issue as well similar to yours on their 33CKTS - a simple fix but surely could have been avoided .....

When I got my 34 REQS -6, my shower tracks were installed backwards, with the drain weeps on the outside draining water on the floor. And my windows on the sofa slide out were installed 90 degrees off. Couldn't understand how the windows were supposed to stay open, they would just fall down when they were raised. Some dumbass at the factory put them in wrong. They're supposed to open horizontally. Duh. Well I have a fantastic dealer that corrected everything that was wrong no fuss, and quickly. Thanks for the compliment. I really love it compared to my TT. It feels like you have so much more room. Hope you are enjoying yours!
