Palamino Sabre 34RDKS

Hello, this is our second Forest River product and they have been wonderful with very few issues. For this 5th wheel, we have been pretty satisfied. Only issues so far on our maiden journey include the folllowing. Our outdoor grill from FR did not come with the connecting gas hose so it was usless to us. Called dealer from campground and was told it does not come with one. Wth? For 58k they better find one. Got a hold of Palomino who says they will send me one, "free of charge". Really you would normally charge me for this? The iRV stereo has to be on 35-40 to hear it and watching dvds come with a complimentary "hum". After a total of 3 different rigs, 2 of which had zero satellite 📡 connection issues, this sabre outside sat/cable connection does not communicate with the inside plug. Had to hardwire thru a window. Ugh

Congrats on the new Sabre !
Welcome to the family!

Was the antenna booster on when you tried sat connection? "Green light on"?
Your dealer was wrong, if it has outside grill or cook top it should have had a hose.

Not sure on the radio but I'd definitely have the dealer look @ it if you so choose.

Thanks Turbs. The booster is in the bedroom which is strange. Our Flagstaff had a great audio/video board near the living room tv which made all of the connections very easy. The Sabre does not have this or even the ability to run a cable box without punching a hole thru a shell to run cables.

Enjoy your sabre!
Gary grigsby @ sabre is very good to deal with and will help with any problems the dealer can't get through.

We have a new RDKS as well, LOVE the back windows for nice breakfast sun. Have had an issue with no radio reception, took screws out of radio mount after unsnapping the faceplate and found the antenna cable from the radio back goes to hole in wall w all other cables but was just a "ribbon" type antenna w no actual connection to outside automotive style antenna on roof. very disappointed. there are however many many more connections available on back of radio. Also our radio wont work below volume 5. Do love the remote quick connects at frame for LP gas accesories. Building a custom stoop for the pooch to use by the window opposite the bathroom door...likes to keep an eye on chipmunks and rogue leaves! Ijusttow.

Cover "snaps" on.
You have to just bite your Lip hold your tongue sideways and lift your left foot about 6"
I broke one tab getting mine off, there's about 6 or 8

Dealer is plain lying to you. they do come with gas hose for outdoor kitchen. Next he will say the TV's remote control is an option.
