Sabre 250RLUD cargo capacity seems low

Hello Everyone.

I'm new to the forum and purchased a 2016 Sabre RLUD back in July 2015. I really love the 5th wheel. I've had it on a few trips and it's been great, but the cargo capacity sticker says I can only carry 572 lbs of cargo. That seems really low for a 5th wheel that is nearly 30ft long. The brochure says 2500lbs before optional equipment. I have the Select package, but that shouldn't eat up almost 2000 lbs

Any ideas?

Jim & Kathleen. 2015 Ram 3500 crew cab dually, Cummins HO, 2016 Sabre RLUD.

So if you ever want to travel with a full tank of water and with your 2 propane tanks filled....your done! Doesn't seem to make sense.

Yes, I've been working with the dealership to have Forrest River print a new one. We're hoping that the GVWR is wrong, it just doesn't make sense. I took it to a truck scale without much in it and it weighed about 8,700 lbs. The GVWR is 9,072

First thing I check is the yellow sticker.
Average user added weight is a 1000 lbs.

What are the axles rated at underneath? Should say on them, figure in your pin weight % and see what is left from the unloaded scale weight. That will tell you right there whether it is a sticker mislabeled.

The Axles are rated at 5,100 lbs each. The weights for a lightly loaded trailer came in at: Pin weight 1,550 lbs., 7,220 total for the 2 axles. Total weight = 8,770.

Are you saying that the cargo capacity should be the Axle rating minus the weight one them?

That is what one would think but they figure a percentage (think 20%)will ride on the TV. I was just saying if they only put 3500 lbs axles under it then that is what you get.

I have a sabre silhouette 250rlud that I ordered last winter and picked up in the spring. I purposely ordered it without the "select" package and added a couple things like the rear ladder, alum wheels, and rear bike rack. I was trying to keep the dry weight down which is why I didn't want the extra weight of some of the "select" options. When we picked it up it had "select" decals on the exterior, but was all white like I wanted. It had the solid surface kitchen counter and upgraded faucet which I did not order, but I wasn't complaining because I did not pay for them. It does not have the extra insulation that the "select" would normally have. It looks nice and after fixing a few things we like it a lot.
My dry weight is 7600, leaving me with around 1400 cargo capacity. I can live with that, but I was expecting closer to 2000 cargo capacity when I ordered the unit.
