Sabre 33CKTS-6
I'm thinking about moving from a Rockwood 8020WS to a Sabre 33CKTS, but am having difficulty judging how much longer the Sabre is. I've seen specs from 33 feet to 38 feet as the length. What I am really interested in is the turning radius when I back into my driveway, so what I would like to know is the distance from the kingpin to the center between the two axles. On my Rockwood, it is 19 feet. I could just go measure a 33CKTS, but the nearest dealer is 65 miles away. Can anyone help?
By the way, the Rockwood 8120WS is speced as 30' 4 inches, which is what I have measured as the box length, not counting the exended pin box or the bumper. I suspect the Sabre box length is 33 and the 38 is including the bicycle rack and the extended pin box, but I can't tell from the literature.
Thanks in advance.

If no one here has one maybe a call to Forest River would be the best to get a accurate measurement.

Go ahead and buy the Sabre so you can tell us the answer! LOL
You won't sell the Sabre even if the length doesn't work out

From the center of the king pin to the center between the tires it is roughly 22ft 8 inches. The camper is 38ft from the front cap to the bumper. This is not including the bike rack.

Bill plemmons in Raleigh has the 32ckts, country roads in Lexington has the 33ckts right now. You can check them out there....... I highly recommend plemmons when you are ready to buy, they gave been very helpful through the sale and after the sale with all of my warranty issues.

We just got out 33CKTS-6 a month ago. Love the floorplan but I have spent more time putting in extra screws, tightening bolts, etc. than I ever had to do in 4 seasons with our Windjammer. Several drawers have fallen out of track because only one screw installed so the the arms pivot, shower track installed backwards, frameless windows keep jumping off track on the opening/closing arms that extend from the handle. Not real impressed with the level of workmanship on this unit so far.

The design and materials used in the Sabre are on a par with the industry but the workmanship has a lot to be desired. Sabre management needs to be reevaluated. There is a serious work ethic problem there, and that's on management . That being said, we still love our 33ckts and would recommend one.
