I think it's related to the number of issues sabre was having. They said they were rebranding it and going back to basics. A lot of the more recent units were plagued with major issues requiring return trips to the factory, it is my understanding this is part of their fix.

They are also expanding on the Columbus brand with the Columbus Compass. Kind of places this between Rockwood/Flagstaff and Columbus. All managed by the same group now.

Big reduction in available floor plans. Looks like the recliners are a thing of the past.

I kinda like what I see on the Sabre website, i.e. 10 gal water heater, fireplace, double pane windows, E rated tires, etc. But really not a big fan of the dark front cap color and no rear kitchen floorplan. Therefore we will keep the RKDS until the lottery buys me a Berkshire.
