We have been living in ours ( see sig ) full time since Nov 2011. We have been very please with how the coach is holding up and have had virtually no real problems. Had to replace the converter, but that is not a Sabre problem.

Funny how a not too long ago the MAD dad and mom wanted to burn the factory down to the ground for screwing them. Then time and effort heals the wounds.

It's amazing how things change when things are done right. It was a hard road but in the end it did work out. I hope they get better and I think they are heading in the right direction, growing pains are hurting them like any other company.

RE:Sinking Floor Issue, Now More,
Regretfully I feel compelled to write this post;
We are one of those owners that are suffering from poor quality problems of a 2009 28RETS Sabre Fifth Wheel purchased new in 2009.
About a year ago, I posted on this website the question, "Why is the Floor Sinking"? After several email correspondence with a Sabre Sam, NO HELP THERE, I purchased 2 screw jacks and a 4 x 4, placed them under the floor of the dining slide, gradually increased pressure over a few weeks and forced the floor back to the original height. Now we feel comfortable eating at the dining table and stepping on the floor again without fear of breaking it or worst, falling through. I have not removed the support and when asked by other RV'ers, why the support, I explain with a BUYER BE AWARE!
Now the More; Yesterday while washing the RV, I noticed some of the plywood decking on the roof has begun to "BOW-UP, WARP, HEAVE, under the rubber roof material along the edge about 6" inward and it doesn't look good in other areas. The rubber material is showing wrinkles and bubbles in areas. Like the floor, in hopes that what goes up will go down, I placed concrete blocks on the worse areas, now I'll wait to see if I need to add more weight. What's Next?
Yes, we are experiencing many Poor Quality of Material Problems, Issues, that could cost as much to repair, due to extremely High labor cost of over $100 an hour, as a new RV would cost. No more Sabre Fifth Wheels or Forest River products for us. Oh did I mention the vinyl on the face of the cabinets has begun to bubble?
I should add, but doesn't help, we have put over 25000 miles of travel on this Sabre RV, with minor problems, but these issues are a result of Poor Quality Products used in construction and not related to travel.
Oh, something else, I had to replace those Chinese tires after 10,000 miles due to bubbles under the tread and not being balanced from factory. This is no way to get and hold your customers. I would Happily have paid a few dollars more, THEN, in exchange for fewer headaches TODAY plus a Bad Experience with Sabre/Palomino. And one more thing, check your hot water heater for rust on the outside around the electric switch, ours has begun to corrode. Naval Jelly time!

Did you replace the battery with the new converter? My neighbor had the same problem, his battery was old, causing the converter to overheat and burn out.

Sorry about your troubles. I would suggest talking with Sabre directly about some of your issues along with talking to your dealer. Of course if these issued were some time ago, FR would have been more likely to help than now on a 5-6 year old camper.
Again sorry you've had so many problems with your camper.

Who are you directing this question to?
It sometimes helps to quote who you are directing a question too, for a better/ more effective answer.

Cruisinhwy66, I would definitely schedule going to the Goshen Rally and turn in a "service request". They will fix your problems free of charge.

I am very happy with my purchase. Had it one year last weekend and will be in it next weekend for 4 nights. As other have said, after a long time shopping around, going to shows, trying to figure out what best suited us, we picked the Sabre. We were happy with the price, the style and the quality as compared to others. If I had it to do over again, I would have went with a different floor plan. We originally thought the kids would come along with us, or their friends and in those instances, we could move the center island out oft the way and create more floor space for sleeping. It has only happened once in a year. If we had it to do over again, we'd buy a Sabre, but probably a 33CKTS with the fixed center island and the theatre seating. But, right now, we plan to use this one for a long time. It really has been a nice 5'er and we like it. Sorry to all those having problems.

My wife and I bought a sabre silhouette 290refd to years ago this April, andhave not had a single quality issue with it. Absolutely love it. Kinda wish we would have went with a little bit larger floorplan, but was too close weight wise for my tow vehicle.

I will say in the end things did turn out right. My only complaint is, Sabre should not treat there buyers the way they do. It should not take months and months for your voice to be heard and your major problems to be fixed. I know there are many customers out there that have not had any major problems, you better thank your lucky stars because if you do, be ready to argue and fight with getting it fixed. I am just stating my opinion from what I have been through. I hope they get better with helping the owners that purchase these units because we really like the looks of this unit, it's one of the best looking units out there In this price range

Your "NO HELP THERE" implies that I did nothing with your correspondence. I provided all your comments and PMs to the Sabre warranty department. Sabre/Forest River may have chosen to not provide any assistance. Please don't imply that I did nothing.

Don't gloss over "The Rest of The Story"......
The Dealer took his Sub Par unit back and will end up selling it to someone who may not know about all of its issue and will be stuck with a the sub par unit.
My unit is still under warranty and I have not been satisfied with the product or the service that I have been getting. I just got off of the phone with a local Dealer that has done work for me in the past. I am taking it there in the morning and I am paying them to fix some issues and will ask for advice on some others.

The 'no help there', statement proved true, Sam. You passed it on and from there the help stopped. It seems that 'Warranty' chose not to provide any assistance. Thank-you for passing the information on, you did your best, it just did not help this person, in the future I am sure that it may.

You don't even have a sabre so what dog do you have in this fight?
I believe if the the poster that commented wants to hash it out with sam let him.
Otherwise worry about your own issues.

Brother les, is there some reason you feel compelled to "stir the pot" on these sabre issues? You made a choice to get a salem, so you dont have a dog in this fight.
Your input on these issues do nothing to help ANYONE on here. Why don't you try to be a positive influence on others instead of trying to bring more negativity?
