slidein ski

The dealer called it a ski it is aplastic piece that goes under the slide in for the slide to run on instead of the plywood bottom. I had it replaced by the dealer last fall when to open slide this spring & it was broken again my question is how do you install this piece. I have a saber by forest river & am 2 hours away from dealer

I had this happen with my sabre. Both living room slides. Not an easy fix I got it fixed at the FROG rally a couple of years ago. It took two people hours to fix it. I doubt its an owner fix.
