Back in the 70's I owned a 1963 caddy that had an antenna that lowered when you turned off the radio.

Full curtains to accompany the day/night shades in the bedrooms. While the shades keep the some of the light out. In-veritably we end up camping next to a streetlight that blinds us all night and it just over powers the shades.

Curtains would definitely help.
I think I'll have ms Amy take care of this in our unit.
I can't sleep unless it's dark.
