1,500 + Pounds of CCC in a MBS Sprinter?
Yes, it can be done... Our new 2020 Sunseeker MBS 2400Q arrived at the dealership today and the CCC is 1,512 pounds.
We didn't order a stripper or leave anything off to save weight. The one thing that did help is we ordered the "Trekker" cap instead of the cab over bunk. We prefer the "Trekker" as it give us more storage and a nice entertainment center instead of a bunk we don't need.
For those who have to see it to believe it I've attached a photo of the door sticker.

Now, weigh it. See what it is really!
(Though, I'll give Sabre credit- I was within about 40 lbs. when I did my 42' fifth wheel a bunch of years back.)

A soon as we pick it up I'll be heading for a CAT Scale.

That's a very nice amount as well.
When we deciding which unit to order we were told getting to a 1,000 pounds of CCC on Sprinter chassis was unlikely on several brands. We saw a couple units with the CCC in the 800 pound range. Too much "bling" has added to much weight to a lot of brands...

I guess we just got lucky as I wasn't watching the OCCC when I bought it. The heaviest I've weighed it is ~ 10950lbs with toad on the dolly (~280lbs) and loaded out for about 3 weeks. GCWR was still ~1k under.

I think the Trekker cap does make a difference in weight. It’s a different animal, of course, but our Ford based Sunseeker with Trekker cap comes in light on the front axle, and also gives us a CCC of 3000 pounds, which is more CCC than the Sunseeker brochure states for that floor plan. The Trekker saves weight.

I gave this a little more thought. Regarding the Trekker cap unloading the front end and reducing empty weight, as well as adding CCC, I’m thinking rear axle loading might become the critical factor. One could possibly be under GVWR, but overweight on the rear axle rating. That’s something to note on the trip to the scale.

The "Trekker" is approximately a 150 pound weight savings according to Dynamax's info on the Isata 3 my "Q's" rich cousin.
I plan on heading to the scale when I do the test drive part of our PDI Tuesday. I'm curious about axle weights as well. I'll have it four corner weighed when we attend a rally with the RVSEF in attendance.

The attached CAT Scale shows within 20 pounds of FR's numbers. 11,030 (GVW) - 9,540 (CAT weight) = 1,490 pounds CCC.
Since a couple upgrades were added at my dealer that's close enough.

OK, I see your weight data. I didn't do any math to compare the sticker to the data. What are the axle weight ratings on the chassis?
Not sure I'd be doing a happy dance with only 1500 pounds total cargo capacity. Planning number for me is 250 pounds per person for them and their "stuff" which only leaves 500 pounds for all the camping gear assuming 4 passengers. You know, chairs, bedding, pots and pans, water, food, etc.
Please let us know.

That's great that you have 1490 pounds CCC on a Sprinter chassis! What's even better, is that if you had to load the rear heavily, all of that 1490 pounds could be carried on the rear axle and the axle rating would not be exceeded.
Perhaps some of the increased CCC on the 2019 Sprinter chassis came from elimination of the spare tire.
It seems getting the Trekker cap is one way to go to get usable CCC. I think it looks way better than the cabover bunk anyway.

Stay far away from Sprinter based Class C RV's with your weight estimates! Some Sprinter based units, including some made by FR, have less than 1,000 pounds of CCC. The advertised CCC for mine is 1,082 pounds in the new 2020 brochure.
The axle ratings, from my door sticker not the brochure, are:
Front: 4410
Rear: 7720
Actual empty weights are:
Front: 3360
Rear: 6180
Axle Load Capacity:
Front: 1050
Rear: 1540
So I have plenty of weight capacity on both axles. There is enough excess capacity it makes me wonder how M-B arrived at a 11,030 GVWR. EU Regulatory issues I suspect...
