as a former Rialta owner I can only say that tire pressure and Sumo springs wont change anything on GVWR. In case of crash your insurance will certainly refuse if your weight is over the specified GVWR.
Can you please site some examples of where this has happened? Give me just the case title and I'll look it up.
I'm in the process or ordering some suspension upgrades for out 2017 Prism 2150LE and was wondering if you went with the 900lb or the 1400lb rated SumoSprings for the rear of your MBS?
just concerned that the 1400lb Sumos might make the ride a little too stiff for comfort?
Thanks in advance!

I spoke to the manufacturer at SumoSprings and they were basically reading off a data sheet. Ended up ordering the 900lb (black) rear and front Sumos. Still not sure if I should've ordered the 1400lb for extra cushion for when I decide to tow a trailer with motorcycles on it...
Excessive weight can destabilize the vehicle and increase the risk of losing control on the road. That said, I'm sure my 2401WS is at least a couple hundred pounds over when we load up on water for dry camping trip. Getting rid of the dutch oven might help
