Battery Light

Has anyone changed or removed coach battery and had the battery light come on after reinstalling?

Battery Light

Im not sure what you mean by battery light. I just changed out my coach batteries in Canada and had no trouble at all. Turned off battery switch, undid negative terminals, got the hold down strap off and switched out the batteries. Only error was having my DW hold the wires out of the way and I took a small chunk of skin off her hand putting the 2 new batteries back in. Shes a very beautiful and understanding woman thank goodness!

According to my 2014 Sprinter manual display of the red battery light while the engine is running indicates that either the battery is faulty or that it's not being charged. Not sure how you're supposed to tell which, but perhaps there's a code that could be read...

Dave is correct. Clean the terminals that are on the coach cables with a wire brush and put a little dielectric grease on them. Make sure they are making a solid connection when reattaching. If the Batt light still comes on, take the battery back for testing.
