Big Foot Remote

My remote system for the stabilizers quit functioning. I'm not sure if the issue is in the transmitter or receiver. I changed batteries in the remote even though the remote appeared to function (one battery did test low), then attempted the reprogram process. However, the system would not complete the reprogramming cycle. I can operate the jacks manually at the control panel, but it's a pain not being able to eyeball it for level at a distance.
I guess I could test my remote on another similarly equipped rig, or use someone else's remote to test my receiver. I stopped at one RV dealer, but they didn't service Bigfoot. Just wondering if someone here has a better idea.

I always just put them down until I felt the coach move. They're not designed to level...but if you were trying to get it somewhat level from front to back...I use the highly scientific "bottle on the table technique"

Sorry if you misread. I'm not talking about getting it level. My remote does not work, period. The remote is not communicating with the receiver.

You said you could manually lower at the control panel correct?

Yes, the control buttons on the receiver will operate the jacks. The receiver appears to recognize the remote when I perform both the "sync" and "re-program" functions, but the jacks do not function via the remote.
So....one of the components is malfunctioning. I'm just trying to figure out how to determine if the problem is in the remote or the receiver.
