Bimetallic corrosion?

These bumps appeared between our door and kitchen window. Is this something anyone else has seen? 3 months out of warranty will FR fix this?

Have you opened up one of the "bumps" to see what it actually is?

That right there is a sign of water infiltration. Those little bumps are from the glue behind the paper getting wet and expanding.

No I havenít. I donít really want to cut the wall covering open. May not have much choice.

I park it inside my barn out of the weather. And haven’t had any signs of water damage anywhere else.

Check around the kitchen window and the door for leaks. Sorry to say but it is definitely water. Also, check the roof seals. If you pick at them, you'll just wreck the wallpaper.

We had a Holiday Rambler MH that the fuel gauge wire came off, and I knew nothing about something called " Galvanic corrosion ", Until I took it in to the shop, they found parts of the door, side of the MH starting to rust even the aluminum was getting corroded. Mine appeared like yours under the decals first..

So might check to see if any loose grounds or wires or if any instrumentation has stopped working recently.

I received a reply from FR warranty mgr today saying it looked like the window seal was allowing water in. They would honor and fix it under warranty! They’ll also repair internal panel and wall covering. Thanks for the replies folks!
